BYE  GRIZZLY ADAM ! !

Our trustee adventure club tutor Adam Brennan has decided to take a year out from his role as Adventure Sports Officer for Finglas. I know he will be missed by everyone. We have his replacement -- The mighty "Galdar" ready and raring to go, who is another Grizzly  bearded one !   You will all meet him in Feburary when we start back

WELCOME TO THE CYC ADVENTURE CLUBS WEBSITE

 


 

CYC Adventure Clubs Network is an initiative that was set up by CYC Adventure Sports Department to link all existing Adventure Clubs into one network with common aims and objectives, development goals, training and standards. In addition, the Network was set up to open up new clubs in new locations to allow us to increase access to and youth participation in Adventure Sports.

The CYC Adventure Clubs Network will offer services to all the clubs in its Network in order to allow them to grow and develop. Support and services that will be offered include:

  1. Yearly Training Programme;

  2. Fundraising Assistance;

  3. Accounts Services;

  4. Annual Events;

  5. Website;

  6. Administration and Committee Assistance;

  7. Adventure Sports Staffing; and

  8. Adventure Sports Resources.

Club Events

  ADVENTURE RACE 2010

Unfortunately the 2009 Adventure race did not go ahead, due to lack of funding, however we are planning on a second inter club adventure race in October 2010. The plan is to have a team of 3 from each of the 6 full clubs. We will be looking for all other members to come and support their club on the day. We are letting you know now to give you time to decide on your team and get training  -- and you will need it !! -- as we intend it to be a very challanging race. If interested let us know on club activity days
